The Faithfulness Factor
What is true faithfulness, and what does it mean to God?
Faithfulness to God is so much more than just showing up to church on Sunday mornings. Faithfulness to God is so much more than attending every church event. When you are faithful, it means that you can be counted on by God and the people that you have been assigned to in the kingdom. Being faithful to God means that you increase His kingdom, and when you do, you do it with a right and good attitude!
When someone is faithful, (like a spouse should be) then you are not in a constant state of worry about whether they will quit on you and the marriage when the going gets tough.
BELIEVERS:
This is the way that we should be as the bride of Christ! We should be faithful and able to be depended upon! We should NOT be on an emotional rollercoaster where we are so hard to maintain that God cannot even use those over us and connected to us to reach the lost because they are too busy worrying about whether we will remain faithful! I have found time and time again that OFFENSE is the very thing that makes people the most unfaithful.
Can I say that there should be NOTHING that can cause you to surrender to the temptation of pride and causes you to step outside of the will of God for your life?
When you TRULY love the Lord, you are FAITHFUL, not only to Him, but to His plans, purposes, and pursuits You are not easily offended, and therefore, He preserves you. Make sure to remember that when offense is chosen over faithfulness and forgiveness, you have entered into pride and can accomplish no good thing for the kingdom.
After studying and meditating on this word for myself, I sincerely hope and pray that that my pastors and people that over me in the Lord can consider me to be one of the FAITHFUL.
Let us strive to be people who can be counted on even when things are tough. Do you have the faithfulness factor?
Let’s meditate on this word today:
